June 2005 Durham Bulls baseball game. They hit a lot of home runs that night so the bull's nose smoked a lot. This batters next swing was another homer.

The upgraded ride

Toys

As purchased with its original 17,500 miles. Our 1971 Malibu still had the original tires on it. They were the first thing to go. We improved the ride with set of Goodyears on American Racing wheels. The next thing to go is the "AM" radio. It receives all of theAM radio talk shows, Radio Daisney, The UofM station, and two Spanish stations. We're looking at radio upgrade options and additional speakers that won't greatly impact the all original nature of this toy.

Cafesjian Carousel

The Cafesjian Carousel is located at Como Park in St. Paul Minnesota. It is PTC #33 built by the Philadelphia Tobogan Company (PTC) and installed at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds in 1914. It moved to its current location in 2000 and underwent a complete restoration.

There are 68 horses on this carousel. The one pictured to the right is the only "paint."

The Cafesjian Carousel is operated by a non-profit group and is staffed by one full time person and 90-100 volenteers.
